You Already Earned Your Place. Now Make It Official.
You didn’t just attend a school. You survived it, grew in it, were shaped by it — and somewhere along the way, it became part of who you are. The SMDCAA exists to honour that, and membership is simply your way of saying: I’m still here. I still care. Count me in.
Who Can Join
There are three membership categories:
Full Member — for all former pupils of Dominican Convent (1939–1977) or St. Mary’s Secondary School (1978 to present). Full members vote at the AGM and are the driving force behind everything we do.
Associate Member — for current pupils of St. Mary’s Secondary School. Free of charge. No subscription required.
Honorary Member — conferred by the Executive Committee on individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the school or association. By invitation only.
Membership Tiers & Benefits
Full Members choose the tier that works for them. Every tier gets you full membership — the higher tiers simply mean a bigger contribution to the school, and bigger discounts on SMDCAA products and events including event tickets, merchandise, and activities.

| Platinum | ZMW 5,000 or equivalent | 30% off |
Want to give a little more? You’re welcome to add a donation of any amount on top of your membership fee. Every kwacha goes directly towards the school and its students.

How to Become a Member
Three steps. That’s all it takes.
Step 1 — Register Your Details Complete the online registration form. It only takes a few minutes.
Step 2 — Wait for Your Acknowledgement Once your registration is received, you’ll get a membership acknowledgement email containing your Permanent Registration Number (PIN). Hold onto that — it’s yours for life.
Step 3 — Make Your Payment Payment details will be included in your acknowledgement email. Pay conveniently via Mobile Money or Bank Transfer.
Associate and Honorary Members are not required to pay a subscription fee.
